Welcome to Science Grades 6-8

All about me:
My name is Diana Lennox and this is my 31st year of teaching. I grew up in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia and attended Mother of Divine Grace Grade School. I attended John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls' High School in Center City. After high school I attended LaSalle College (now university), where I majored in English. I began teaching at Visitation B.V.M. School in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. I have taught in different schools in different sections of the city.

I'm married to my husband, Jonathan, and we moved to Delaware County about 16 years ago. I have twins who turned 26 in September. Their names are Stephen, Jr., and Alyssa. Stephen graduated from Chestnut Hill College, and Alyssa from Philadelphia University. Our family includes our Pitbull Chewie, named for Chewbacca from Star Wars, and our cats, Newt (named for a character in Fantastic Beasts), Mochi, and Momo.

I love teaching and enjoy learning new things with my students. Science is one of my favorite subjects to teach. I am looking forward to a wonderful year here at SCJN!
