About Miss. Abbonizio 

Welcome to 5th Grade! 

My name is Miss. Avery Abbonizio and I have the pleasure of being your teacher this year! This is my second year teaching and I am SOOO excited to be a part of the Saints Colman-John Neumann community. 

I recently graduated from West Chester University’s Education Program and also grew up in West Chester. I attended Ss. Peter & Paul from Pre-K through 8th grade and went on to graduate from Bishop Shanahan High School. Catholic education is extremely important to me and I am looking forward to helping your child grow and build their faith. 

Teaching is a passion of mine and I am dedicated to making this year  one of the best years yet! My philosophy is deeply rooted in allowing students to be hands-on and also encourage student-centered learning. I am a strong believer in building relationships while nurturing curiosity to set students up for lifelong learning. 

I am so excited to see what 5th Grade has in store for us this year!
