STANDARD ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS SURROUNDING ILLNESS
Students should be fever free (below 100.0 F) for 24 hours before coming or returning to school, without the use of fever reducing medication.
Students should remain home for 24 hours after vomiting.
In the event of a Strep Throat infection, students should have been taking antibiotics for 24 hours before returning to school.
Students with secretions from their nose or mouth that are difficult to contain due to an upper respiratory infection, should remain home until secretions have diminished.
Students with a disruptive cough should not attend school until cough is more manageable.
Students with a body rash should be evaluated by their pediatrician before attending school.
