William James College: Interface Referral Service
The William James INTERFACE Referral Service is a mental health and wellness referral Helpline available Monday through Friday, 9 am-5 pm, at 888-244-6843 (toll free). This is a free, confidential referral service for individuals across the lifespan living in participating communities, to which Scituate is a participant. Callers are matched with licensed mental health providers from an extensive database, on average, within 2 weeks of their call to INTERFACE. Each referral best meets the location, insurance, and specialty needs of the caller such a gender preference, presenting concern, and type of therapy delivered. They can be contacted by calling 617-774-6036 or 800-528-4890. The office is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Those seeking assistance are encouraged to call, but walk-ins are accepted. Aspire Crisis Team is located at 460 Quincy Avenue in Quincy. If you are a Boston Resident in crisis please contact BEST (Boston Emergency Services Team) by calling 1(800)-981-HELP (4357) . In the event of an emergency, you can also call 911 or go to your nearest Emergency Department for help.
