Hello, my name is Miss Hunter and I am super excited to be teaching fourth grade this year.
I was born and raised just outside of Harpster, Idaho and attended Clearwater Valley Elementary, Middle, and High Schools on the Nez Perce Indian Reservation. Growing up, I lived on a cattle ranch where I rode horses on a near daily basis and had many pets including goats, peacocks, rabbits, cows, and turtles. As a child, I participated in O-Mok-Sees and rodeos. My favorite events were barrels and pole bending.
After high school, I moved to Salem, Oregon and attended Corban University where I majored in elementary education. During that time I fell in love with the Willamette Valley and knew I wanted to live and teach in this area.
In my free time I like to read, swim, cook, bake, sing, watch movies, garden, and fix up old furniture.
