A little about me...
This year, I am teaching 7th grade math, 8th grade math, 7th grade language arts, and 7th grade elective.
I am looking forward to working as a team with all of you this year!
A little bit about me...
I am married...30 years! YIKES! I have aged myself.
I have two children (Garrett and Luke) who both served in the navy, and are thankfully back home where they belong...or at least close to home :-), and a daughter-in-law (Caitlin).
I am a grandma (Maverick Grey, 3 years old and soon to have Blakely Rose join us come October).
I am a dog owner (Tug who sneezes constantly and is annoying but loving).
I have a cat (Missy Kitty who does not hunt and wants to lay around all day INSIDE...She is supposed to be a barn cat).
I also have a Russian tortoise (Moo-Scow or Norman (he has had multiple names) which you will meet when school resumes.
Last but not least...I will work with you and I hope you will work with me as I work through my cancer treatments this school year...hopefully short lived...Prayers and fingers and toes crossed!

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Math 7H
Some of the concepts we will be covering this year will be operations with integers and rational numbers, solving equations, and using algebraic techniques to work with similar and congruent figures.
Math 8H
During this course we will learn about the Pythagorean theorem, multi-step equations, and solving equations through systems of equations, just to name a few.
Language Arts B
We will use curriculum from StudySync. There will be short stories, grammar lessons, and writing assignments. The book is available online, as well as hard copy.
Typing/Health 7
This is a 6-week course that occurs twice throughout the semester- 6 weeks of typing using Typing.com and 6 weeks of health, which will come from school provided health book.
