Our Story...
Sandy Cay Inc. (SCI) was formed in 2000 by a parent who needed services for her son who had a diagnosis of tuberous sclerosis and autism. Effective interventions were not available in Bryan, OH at that time and, having been exposed to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) through research and seminars, the parent decided to form a non-profit organization to make ABA and other interventions and services available to others in Bryan and the surrounding communities.
In 2003, Sandy Cay, Inc. formed The Bryan Center for children with an autism spectrum disorder. The first program of its kind in the Four County area, The Bryan Center offered a full day educational program to address standard academics and social concerns through a behavioral perspective.
Now in 2025, SCI The Bryan Center (TBC) is a chartered, nonpublic school registered with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. TBC serves students of all abilities and continues to work for each child’s success. The 1:1 and small group ratio is just one of the many benefits TBC can offer!
