Do you hear our cries?

Have you been told at a young age how to act when police officers appear? Have you ever been told the horrifying truth about what happens to people that look like you? Have you ever been scared, or unsafe from people that are supposed to “protect” you?
“Faith, not fear.”
Her heart drops, and sinks in fear. The constant trial of faith. “What is faith? Why does this happen to me, why do I question faith but “praise” fear?” She questions her existence because she is scared of what is to come.

Violence pollutes our community. If it isn’t us vs. the world, it’s us vs. eachother. Who do we have to believe in us, if we don’t believe in each other.
