Every day the Earth spins
The car drive down the road
The fan flows so I can feel the cold
Every day the wheel goes
Every day the sun rises behind the city
The clouds move light and slow
The train whistle blow then we can go
Every day the wheel goes
Every day the city bears its sound
The planes balance in the air
The temperature is fair and the wind blows through my hair
Every day the wheel goes
Each morning the birds are already chattering amongst each other
The homeless cat meows its song
It’s done no wrong but an alley isn’t where it belongs
Every day the wheel goes
Every day I wake
My skin is rotten to the bone
I don’t feel at home so I sit alone
Every day the wheel goes
At school, I find no peace
I’m shoved and thrown
No one sees though so I’m on my own
Every day the wheel goes
This is how it must be
I don’t feel joy anymore
My body’s sore, I’ve been ignored, and I feel numb to my core
If that changes, the wheels won’t row
