As there is dark history about the native american peoples struggles against opression as well as discrimination, there holds a bright future for the many Native American children. Who to change the ideologies they protest, and stand up against the causes that their ancestors had faced. In my monologue "A Native Journey' Mickey a 12 year old is to face a dark secret. He uses this secret to  face the government, and make it change their laws that affect his family, and the Sacramento Native American community.
