Senior Interview:

Everything You Need

Introduction

Studies have shown that people that take the time to periodically reflect on their experiences are more prepared, driven, and successful in all walks of life. As a result, Steele Canyon High School adopted a requirement for all seniors to complete a Senior Interview in order to graduate. It is our hope that taking the time to reflect over the past four years of experiences will allow students to better understand how learning affects their life and will help position them to make more informed decisions about their future.

Two major components of the Senior Interview.

A Senior Website completed on Google Sites that includes separate pages for each of the major question categories. The categories are outlined on The Website page link located at the top of the page and information on content for each page can be found on The Questions and The Evidence pages.

A Senior Interview that will include questions that pertain to your academic experience, personal growth/challenges, and planning for your future. The eight minute interview will be conducted by a panel of judges. A list of possible questions that could be asked during the interview and the scoring rubric used by the judges is located on The Interview page as well.
