Bus Rules
A Bus Pass or Ride Ticket is required at all times to ride the School Bus

The following rules and regulations have been established by State law and SCHS.
Bus Passes and Ride Tickets must be presented to the driver immediately upon entering the bus.
Bus passes may not be used by other students.
Students failing to present a bus pass or ride ticket 3 times may be denied transportation.
The bus driver is in charge at all times. Follow the driver’s instructions.
Students must conduct themselves at all times in a manner which shows respect for property and consideration for others. Actions such as littering, spitting, throwing of objects at, within, or out of the bus, vandalism or harassment of others will not be tolerated.
Buses are not scheduled to wait. Arrive to your stop at least 10 minutes before the scheduled stop time. In the afternoon, buses depart each school 7 minutes after the dismissal bell.
When you see the bus coming, move back ten (10) feet from the stop and line up for loading. Enter and leave the bus in an orderly manner.
Animals, birds, reptiles, fish, insects, breakable containers, skateboards, weapons or any object that could be hazardous will not be transported.
Students shall remain seated from the time they board the bus until they arrive at their destination and the bus door is opened. Seats may be assigned at any time.
All parts of the body must be kept inside the bus at all times.
Avoid touching the emergency exit and driver operated mechanisms.
Talk quietly; make no unnecessary noise. Be absolutely quiet when approaching and crossing railroad tracks.
Profanity, vulgarity and obscene gestures are not permitted.
Fighting, wrestling, or boisterous activity is prohibited on the bus.
Eating, drinking, gum or tobacco chewing, spitting, vaping and smoking are not permitted.
No medications of any type are allowed on the school bus. All medications must be delivered to the school nurse by a parent/guardian.
Students must be fully attired, including shoes. Spiked or cleated shoes shall not be worn.
SCHS does not supervise bus stops and is not responsible for the control and conduct of students at bus stops.
FAILURE TO ABIDE BY ONE OR MORE OF THESE RULES MAY RESULT IN THE LOSS OF BUS RIDING PRIVILEGES.
Las siguientes reglas y regulaciones han sido establecidas por la ley estatal
Se requiere un pase de autobús o boleto de viaje en todo momento para viajar en el autobús escolar.
Los pases de autobús y los boletos de viaje deben presentarse al conductor inmediatamente después de subir al autobús. Los pases de autobús no pueden ser utilizados por otros estudiantes.
A los estudiantes que no presenten un pase de autobús o boleto de viaje 3 veces se les puede negar el transporte.
El conductor del autobús está a cargo en todo momento. Siga las instrucciones del conductor.
Los estudiantes deben comportarse en todo momento de una manera que muestre respeto por la propiedad y consideración por los demás. No se tolerarán acciones tales como tirar basura, escupir, arrojar objetos dentro o fuera del autobús, vandalismo o acoso a otros.
Los autobuses no están programados para esperar. Llegue a su parada al menos 10 minutos antes de la hora de parada programada. Por la tarde, los autobuses salen de cada escuela 7 minutos después de la campana de salida.
Cuando vea venir el autobús, retroceda diez (10) pies de la parada y haga fila para subir. Entrar y salir del autobús de manera ordenada.
No se transportarán animales, aves, reptiles, peces, insectos, envases rompibles, patinetas, armas o cualquier objeto que pueda resultar peligroso.
Los estudiantes deberán permanecer sentados desde el momento en que abordan el autobús hasta que llegan a su destino y se abre la puerta del autobús. Los asientos pueden ser asignados en cualquier momento.
Todas las partes del cuerpo deben permanecer dentro del autobús en todo momento.
Evite tocar la salida de emergencia y los mecanismos operados por el conductor.
Habla suave; no haga ruido innecesario. Manténgase absolutamente callado cuando se acerque y cruce las vías del tren.
No se permiten blasfemias, vulgaridades ni gestos obscenos.
Las peleas, luchas o actividades bulliciosas están prohibidas en el autobús.
No está permitido comer, beber, masticar chicle o tabaco, escupir, vapear y fumar.
No se permiten medicamentos de ningún tipo en el autobús escolar. Todos los medicamentos deben ser entregados a la enfermera de la escuela por un padre/tutor.
Los estudiantes deben estar completamente vestidos, incluidos los zapatos. No se deben usar zapatos con clavos o clavos.
SCHS no supervisa las paradas de autobús y no es responsable del control y la conducta de los estudiantes en las paradas de autobús.
EL INCUMPLIMIENTO DE UNA O MÁS DE ESTAS REGLAS PUEDE RESULTAR EN LA PÉRDIDA DE LOS PRIVILEGIOS DE VIAJAR EN EL AUTOBÚS.
