Register for a Profile Page or Certification Account with the NCAA Eligibility Center at eligibilitycenter.org.
At the end of the year, ask your counselor to upload your official transcript to your NCAA Eligibility Center account.
Keep earning the best grades possible!! The better your grades are, the more options you will have!
Make sure you are on track to take the number of NCAA-Approved courses
Take your ACT or SAT and submit scores to NCAA
Start building relationships with potential college programs. (Don't wait for them to reach out to you!) Send emails to all members of the coaching staff. Ask about their academic programs you might be interested in.
Send film, stats, and your competition schedule to coaching staffs of your interested colleges.
Complete all your NCAA-approved core courses
Take ACT or SAT again if necessary
Keep in contact with your interested schools. Continue to send film, stats, and your schedule.
Ask the Athletic Department to setup a signing day. Click link for NLI Signing Dates.
Request your final amateurism certification in your Certification Account.
After graduation, have your final official transcript with proof of graduation uploaded to NCAA Eligibility Center Account.
Note: Only students on an NCAA Division I or II school's institutional request list will receive a certification.
