In the U.N there is something called SDG. There are many SDGs that are related with poverty or is about poverty. The first SDG is zero poverty. This SDG is about ending poverty completely around the world. This means that there should be no one making $1.90 to $5.50 a day. There is another SDG which is about ending world hunger. This SDG is connected to poverty because you cant buy food with our having money. All of the SDGs are connected to poverty because poverty can cause all of these damages like hunger and health care.
The third Sustainable Development Goal is about having good health and well-being which is basically trying to give money to people so they can afford to have good health and so they would be happy.
The fourth SDG is about having equitable quality education and to promote lifelong learning opportunities for everyone. About 55% of people are below proficient levels in grades 1-8.
The fifth SDG was to try to equalize people regardless of their gender so women and men would be equal in rights and there wouldn't be discrimination of women.
The sixth SDG was about providing clean water and sanitation to everyone. Billions of people still lack safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene.
The seventh SDG was about trying to ensure access to affordable, reliable modern energy for everyone. 1/3 of the population of people lack modern energy for cooking and or electricity.
The eighth SDG is about trying to give everyone decent work and to have economic growth.
The ninth SDG is about building "resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation."
The tenth SDG is about trying to reduce inequality in countries or among countries.
The eleventh SDG is about making cities and human settlements more safer, resilient, inclusive and more sustainable.

The twelfth SDG is about ensuring sustainable consumption and production so the future wouldn't collapse from us using everything and not producing enough to counteract that.
The 13'th SDG is about combatting climate change and it's impacts which are hotter temperatures, more severe storms and drought due to the intense heat.
The 14'th SDG is about conserving and sustainably using the ocean resources for sustainable development.
The 15'th SDG is about "protecting, restoring, and promoting sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss."

The 16'th SDG is about "promoting peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development" and "provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels."
The final and last Sustainable Development Goals is #17 which is about "strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development.
