The IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) is a non-profit organization focused on reducing deaths, injuries, and property damage caused by car crashes. One of their initiatives is the Understanding Car Crashes: It's Basic Physics program, which is aimed at educating drivers about the basic physics principles that underlie car crashes.
