Sora is a reading app that provides access to our school collection, our district collection, and the public library collections. Read your e-books or listen to your audiobooks all from one place! Sora is accessible via the Sora App or on your web browser.
You must log in with your NYCDOE credentials. Teachers(@schools.nyc.gov), Students(@nycstudents.net account). If you do not know them, you can retrieve them and/or reset them. See "Students" tab for instructions.

You can also add your public library cards to Sora App. Information about how to get a library card can be found further on the page.
Public Library Cards
There are three public library systems that serve New York City, and you can register with any and all using the links for the specific library system (NYPL, Brooklyn, Queens) to have a library card. Allows remote access to digital resources including eBooks, audiobooks, databases, and magazines.
New York Public Library (Manhattan, Bronx and Staten Island)
Library Card Application - provides access to an array of digital resources, including eBooks and audiobooks, as well as databases available.
eCard Application - provides access to e-Books, e-Audiobooks, and databases.
eCard Application - provides access to digital media resources and databases.
