Songwriting Workshop

Students in this set of learning experiences will be asked to explore the world of songwriting before creating an original piece of music. This set of activities is based on the belief that students learn best when they bring their personal experiences to their creative processes. Starting with the basic elements of a song and the process of songwriting, this course will walk students step-by-step through the various musical and technical skills and knowledge needed to create meaningful self-expression through music.
