Safety Expectations for all staff and students while in the building:

At P.S. 78, we are taking every possible measure to establish and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students and staff while adhering to the four core actions outlined in NYC Chancellor’s Regulation

• Wearing face coverings

• Maintaining physical distance of three feet when possible.

• Increased opportunities for washing hands or access to hand sanitizer and

• Staying home when sick.

Safety precautions taken by our school include

• Changes in class sizes: teacher to student ratio

• Altered arrival and dismissal and lunch procedures

• Students and staff daily Health and Wellness Routines

• Increase cleaning and sanitization frequency

• Movement Protocols utilizing signage and floor markings

• Staff professional development on Health & Safety
