Who Are We?

This is Ms. Reyes (left) and Ms. Ginsberg (right). We have worked together in the Library since 2011. We LOVE our job and we LOVE helping our community!

Mission Statement

We strive to provide an environment that encourages intellectual curiosity and personal enjoyment reading. Our mission is to create a student-centered library media center which provides a safe, nurturing environment in which all students and their families can successfully seek information and ideas for their educational, informational, and recreational needs.

The library seeks to promote an appreciation of information and literature enabling students to interpret meaning from various forms of literature as they develop and sustain a love of reading, and become lifelong readers and learners.

The librarian works collaboratively to provide the services necessary to satisfy the evolving recreational and informational needs of the students, families, and faculty.

Happy New Year! We Can Do Hard Things in 2021

1- "What do you want to do to sustain yourself in 2021? "

2-"What do you want to do to create JOY in your life this year?"

Ms. Ginsberg's January Reads

Each month, we will be featuring titles from our P.S. 28 Library read by Ms. Ginsberg for P.S. 28 student use. They will be available for students and staff on the Google Drive. Click each book to hear the read-a-loud.
