When our school opens up, Covid-19 testing is now mandatory for all NYC students (Grade 1-12) to attend in person school. BUT don’t worry, it’s not the uncomfortable test that many adults experience. Check out one young student getting tested above. On testing days, your child will be escorted by an amazing teacher or staff member and the process is super quick. Check out these informative videos to see the process.
Weekly Random COVID-19 Testing Program in “Yellow Zone” Schools
Keeping school buildings op en depends upon awareness and immediate action on any COVID-19 concerns in our buildings. For schools that have been designated by the state as being in the “yellow zones,” that means the random testing program must be implemented weekly. If your school is located in the “yellow zone,” you will need to update your consent form through your New York City Schools Account (NYCSA) or by downloading the form here.
