School Leadership Team

School leadership mission

The main mission of the School Leadership Team of our school is to oversee the development of the school's Comprehensive Education Plan (CEP) and make budgeting decisions in order to implement the CEP. We are a resourceful elementary school that believes every child deserves to learn and be inspired. Students, parents, and faculty are committed to curiosity and creativity. Our established atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation builds students' confidence and leads to individual growth and academic growth. Our staff members understand how vital it is to create a learning environment of "respect and inclusivity that welcomes all students and promotes academic success" (Dr. Donna Elam). Our Equity Team's recommendation was to encourage everyone to create an "I Believe" statement. They are proudly displayed around the building. This is a first step in promoting discussion and sharing ideas in a safe space, that will continue across the curriculum throughout the year.
