On February 14, 2023, the students of P.S. 158 celebrated 100 days of school. Many classes commemorated the event in a variety of creative ways.

Our Hydroponic Lab Expansion!!!
On January 11, P.S. 158 celebrated our Hydroponic Lab Expansion. Students were on hand to show off what they had grown. The Hydroponic Lab and Expansion were made possible by the generous contribution from the office of the District 37 council member, Sandra Nurse who joined us for the event.

Each floor was given a holiday theme. The teachers and staff worked to create the masterpieces that you see below. See if you can spot the different themes: Winter Wonderland, The Grinch, The Polar Express, and Candyland.

Celebrating El Dia Del Latino
The students of P.S 158 participated in a fun filled festival to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Our dedicated social studies teacher/drama coach, Mr. Unika Munawwar created and directed the entire event. The students had the opportunity to partake in a variety of food and games. They also enjoyed watching their fellow classmates perform in the delightful show.
Career Day and Character Day
Thank you to all of our professionals who took the time to come and share their careers with us!
Also, a big shout out to all of our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who came up with some terrific questions to ask our guests!!
