New York State Education Law requires that School Leadership Teams (SLTs) be established in every New York City public school. SLTs participate in school decision-making and help shape school culture. A key responsibility of the SLT is developing the School Comprehensive Educational Plan (CEP).
The School Leadership Team meets on the third or fourth Monday of each month. The team consists of 10 members, including the Principal, PTA President, UFT Chapter Chairperson, one teacher, one paraprofessional, one school aide, and four parents. The agenda is set by the team, and items are discussed and resolved through consensus.
Listed below are our school goals for the 2025–2026 school year and the meeting dates. SLT minutes will be posted after the team has had an opportunity to review and approve them at the subsequent monthly meeting.
