Welcome! My name is Ms. Choudhury, and I am the 6th and 7th grade STEM teacher this year at I.S 162. I was born in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and grew up in Middle Village Queens. I went to Queens College and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education and a bachelor's in Psychology. Additionally, I have my master's degree in Special Education. Ever since I was a child, I always wanted to be a teacher because it has always brought me such fulfillment seeing people finally understand something they were struggling with. This is my 3rd year as a full-time teacher, but I have been working with kids since 2017. Aside from teaching some of my favorite things to do are shop, hangout with my family and friends, play sports, skateboard, and read. I look forward to tackling this year with you!

¡Bienvenidos! Mi nombre es Sra. Choudhury y este año soy la maestra de STEM de sexto y séptimo grado en I.S 162. Nací en el Lower East Side de Manhattan y crecí en Middle Village Queens. Fui a Queens College y me gradué con una licenciatura en Educación y una licenciatura en Psicología. Además, tengo una maestría en Educación Especial. Desde que era niña, siempre quise ser maestra porque siempre me ha traído mucha satisfacción ver a las personas finalmente entender algo con lo que estaban luchando. Este es mi tercer año como maestra de tiempo completo, pero he estado trabajando con niños desde 2017. Además de enseñar, algunas de mis cosas favoritas para hacer son ir de compras, pasar el rato con mi familia y amigos, practicar deportes, andar en patineta y leer. ¡Espero abordar este año contigo!
