Ms Lewin's Community Project

Bubble Maps students used to create their books for Book Creator.

Now we have a Partnership from our Visit with Fordham University for Future Events.

Students got an opportunity to plant a tree in memory of a past student for Arbor Day!

Overview of our Project

Our school the Piazza- Our school is the center of the the project with all the resources surrounding it. These resources are accessible to everyone in the community.

Fordham University- Students look forward to attending college and Fordham University serves as an inspiration for students in the community. 

Little Italy (Arthur Avenue)- In the center of the community Little Italy has many resources of food, culture and fun.

The Park- Students can visit the park- The Park serves as a staple for everyone in the community. Children go there on a class trip or with their families.

The Fire station- The fire station is very important to the community as it serves the community in case of fires and helps the school to conduct fire drills.
