Our Bronx Landmark Investigation

In this project, Mrs. La Manno's 3rd and 4th grade students will connect their learning about World Wonders, from HMH Into Reading Module 6 (Marvels of Nature) to their local community by researching significant Bronx landmarks. They will develop research and synthesis skills while exploring themes of perseverance and community impact. Working with the Digital Age Learning team, students will investigate a chosen Bronx landmark, focusing on its function, location, positive contributions, and their personal reflections on its value. The project culminates in students creating a digital presentation using Book Creator, demonstrating their understanding and digital literacy skills.
