Welcome Class 5-407!
This school year is your last school year in elementary school and we are eager to see you graduate ! We look forward to working and learning together.
As your teachers, we have some expectations and learning goals for you this semester. By the end of this semester you will be able to do the following.
I will be able to add subtract multiply and divide fractions and mixed numbers.
I will be able to find the volume of a given shape.
I will be able to use graphs such as line plots to gather data.
I will be able to do research on a given topic and present the information to a group.

I am so excited to be your fifth grade teacher. I have been teaching for 6 years but this is my 2nd year teaching at P.S 85 ! I knew I wanted to a teacher since I was in fourth grade. I look forward to working together this year :).

Hello Everyone ! I am excited to be your math teacher this school year. This year you are lucky enough to have two teachers. I have been teaching at P.S 85 for 23 years and I was previously the school math coach so I know a thing or two about mathematics. We look forward to working together this year !
