The Midwood High School Library Media Center is a welcoming and respectful atmosphere that is conducive to learning. The Midwood Library Media Program offers opportunities for the students to use the library for class - related research, individual investigation, independent reading and personal inquiry.

The librarians are teachers and library media specialists. We seek to empower, inspire, and support all learners in the art of inquiry and discovery, as they become critical thinkers, skillful researchers, and responsible, ethical users, producers, and managers of ideas and information. We believe an effective library media program must support culturally responsive teaching through collections and programming,  provide an environment that facilitates student success in today’s knowledge and technology-driven society, foster independent, enthusiastic and lifelong learners and readers; and promote cohesiveness with the school’s curriculum goals, objectives, and values.
