Freedom Flix, True Flix and Science Flix Research Databases

IS 75 Has school-wide subscriptions to three excellent databases that are especially good for Social Studies and Science Research:

• Freedom Flix covers both world and U.S. history, from the beginnings of both all the way up to the present time. You'll find lots of cool resources for everything you are currently studying and more

• True Flix has offerings in both Social Studies and Science, with topics that line up perfectly with grade-level curriculum units

• Science Flix has wonderful content for both Science and Health classes, all available on different reading levels.

Access from school computers should be automatic (i.e., you should not need to enter username and password).

We also enjoy REMOTE ACCESS to all three of these Flix products, which means their resources are available to our students and staff from home 24/7. See your Grade-Level Google Library Classroom (or the Staff Google Library Classroom for teachers) for the schoolwide username and password, or visit Mrs. Tomes in the library with any questions.
