Our Mission

The Hunter's Point Campus Library serves 3 NYCPS schools:  


The Hunter's Point Campus Library is committed to fostering a love of learning, promoting literacy, and empowering all students to become lifelong readers and critical thinkers. We strive to create an inclusive, welcoming environment where every student feels valued and represented. Our mission is to:


1. Provide access to diverse, high-quality print and electronic resources that reflect our multicultural world and support our schools' goals and standards.

2. Cultivate information literacy skills essential for academic success and responsible citizenship in the digital age.

3. Inspire creativity, curiosity, and a passion for reading among all members of our school community.

4. Affirm that Black Lives Matter and ensure that all students see themselves reflected in literature, promoting equity and cultural understanding.

5. Create a safe, nurturing space where students can explore ideas, engage in meaningful discussions, and develop their full potential.


Through our commitment to these principles, we aim to nurture well-rounded, empathetic, and informed individuals who are prepared to thrive in an ever-changing world.

About Ms. Wolfe

Ms. Wolfe was born in the best little state, Rhode Island, and will forever love the Patriots and Red Sox, no matter how long she's lived in NYC! 

When she isn't running or lifting weights she can be found taking care of her children or READING! 

She loves to meet new students so please come say hi to her in the library during your Open Access time!
