Sora is an app (and a browser website) where you can check out and read ebooks and audiobooks. The collections on Sora are excellent and getting better every day! Below, you can find video tutorials for how to sign in and access the ebooks.

Signing up for Sora on the computer (which works really well!)
Go to https://soraapp.com/welcome
Type New York City and it will take you to the familiar @nycstudents.net log in.
You should join 2 libraries: (keep going back to “find my school”)
New York City Department of Education
Queens Public Library (no need to have a library card!)
Now you’re in! When searching for a book, make sure to check the box "search all of my libraries" to get the best results!

Download the Sora by Overdrive app
In the app, click the upper right corner and "find my school". Type New York City and it will take you to the familiar @nycstudents.net log in.
