1. Lesson Goals
SWBAT
1...review/learn the 12 COLORS of the color
wheel and HOW THEY ARE MADE

2...review/learn the 3 COLOR GROUPS and how
they are ORGANIZED on the color wheel

3...categorize colors as either WARM or COOL
.
4...use HATCHING, CROSS-HATCHING,
RANDOM LINES, STIPPLING, and BURNISHING
with COLORED PENCILS to mix and fill areas with color

1. Use the folder paper trick to mark
equally distanced points for guiding
your color wheel drawing

About Tertiary Colors
1. There are 6 Tertiary colors. They are made by
mixing a primary color with an adjacent
secondary color

2. Tertiary color names consist of
the colors that were mixed to make them with a
hyphen in-between them

3. Red-Orange is one of the Tertiary colors.
Use your learning from this reading to come
