1. Project Goals
SWBATS:
Understand what it means to create original artwork.
Use Photoshop (Web Version) to create original reference images for their Surrealism Drawings in Colored Pencils (See Sample in section 2)

The next assignment will be your Surrealism Drawing in Colored Pencils. Basing it on your thumbnail sketches/Photoshop Reference is optional!

3. About Making Original Art from Internet Images
You will be searching for images from the Internet with the Generative Fill feature in Photoshop.
2. Focus on exercising your own creativity by only choosing plain photographic image to work with

4. Load Creative Cloud
Click on the Magnifying Glass icon on the top right of your screen
Type in "Creative Cloud"
Click on it to load the creative cloud software
5. Sign in to Creative Cloud

Choose Company Account

7. Create a Document (Horizontal or Vertical)

8. Review the Tool Bar and Selection Tools
You will use the RECTANGLE MARQUEE and the LASSO tools. You MIGHT use the ELLIPTICAL MARQUEE tool
When you make a SELECTION, you will see a DOTTED LINE.
Use the KEYBOARD Shortcut COMMAND D to GET RID of a DOTTED LINE SELECTION
9. Use the Rectangle Marquee to Select Entire Canvas
Click and drag with the rectangle marquee to draw a rectangular selection that fills your entire canvas.
10. Undo Your Work (As Needed)
Use the KEYBOARD Shortcut COMMAND Z to UNDO a mistake (as needed)
11. Type in Environment you Chose
When you have a dotted line selection, you will see the GENERATIVE FILL Tool Bar.
Type in what you chose for your environment
Click the plus sign to see more options
Change the search words as needed.
Ask for help if you're not sure what words to type in or if you're not getting the results you wanted.
