SWBAT:

1. Draw a color wheel that includes the 12 correct color wheel colors

2. Divide each color wheel color into 4 shapes

3. Create Tints

4. Create Shade

5. Mix complements to create duller versions of each color

3. Choose One from Two Options

5. Positioning 12 Colors, Coloring Primary & Secondary, Mixing 6 Tertiary

SHADES:

  1. Color in the same color wheel colors again in the ring that's just outside the ring of the 12 pure colors.
  2. Add black to create shades

TINTS:

  1. Very lightly, to allow the white paper to show through, color in the same color wheel colors again in the outer ring to create tints.  
  2. By letting the white paper show through, you are adding white to create tints
