Explore the tools in Adobe Illustrator and draw out the letters of your name in a creative way.

Use shapes and lines and whatever else you can come up with!

Remember to use TOOLS. And try some of the goodies in the WINDOW MENU

Keep adding and changing your Name Design as you learn new skills in class.

FILE SET UP INSTRUCTIONS

Load ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR

File > New

In the NEW FILE WINDOW do two things

1. Name your file Name Design followed by your last name and then your first name name

example: Name Design Hooker Martina.ai

2. Choose wide for the ORIENTATION (the 2nd ICON)

Use shapes to create the letters of your name

Explore swatches, stroke, etc. (look in the Window Menu)

Save it and submit it

Work on it again from time to time and keep adding to it / changing it
