Every Shape 3 Fill and Stroke
1. Lesson Goals
SWBAT:
1...use the DEFAULT, and SWAPPED default, FILL & STROKE
SETTINGS.
2...ACTIVATE the fill or stroke in the tool box
3...use the SWATCHES Panel
2. Default Fill and Stroke
The DEFAULT fill and stroke setting is White Fill and Black Stroke
You can always easily set shapes to the Default Fill and stroke by clicking on the teeny little default fill and stroke icon. (See the Arrow)
You can flip the fill and stroke by clicking on the double headed arrow (see red arrow)
3. Fill / Stroke Set to None
Click on the teeny box with the red slash to set your fill to none.
You can activate the fill or the stroke by clicking on it to bring it forward
Click on the STROKE or FILL icon to bring the one you want forward for editing.
The example left is set for editing the STROKE
4. Application
Use only these two settings:
• Default Fill & Stroke
• Default Fill & Stroke Flipped
All the shapes with black fills should have white strokes.
5. Use the Swatches Panel
1. Open the SWATCHES panel from the WINDOW menu.
2. Edit the Fill and Stroke of your shapes in your CREATIVE DRAWING
6. Assessment

Work on an Independent Project
8. Submit
9. Make Up Work
1. Come to the Mac Lab to make up work

Be careful to position the selection correctly to get the results that you want. UNDO if you make a MISTAKE

CLICK on the STROKE ICON in the Tool Box to make it FORWARD & ACTIVATED.
When the STROKE is FORWARD in the Tool Box it can be changed in the SWATCHES Panel.
