Do Now: Contrast of Color
Work with an ART ELEMENT and show OPPOSITE QUALITIES
Examples:
CONTRAST of COLOR: Use a PAIR of COMPLEMENTARY COLORS or WARM against COOL
CONTRAST of VALUE: Use a DARK SHADE next to a LIGHT TINT
CONTRAST of LINE: Use a STRAIGHT LINE next to a CURVY LINE
etc.
Contrast of Color
Choose colors that are far away from each other on the color wheel. PAIRS of colors that sit directly opposite each other on the color wheel are called COMPLEMENTARY COLORS. They create the most contrast.

1. Go to the group shared folder and find the file
named "Contrast"

2. Drag it to your Desktop and gently click on it twice
(don't open it) to highlight the name for editing.

3. Change the file name by adding your last name
followed by your first name. Example:
Contrast Hooker Martina
4. Choose the colors you want to use to create contrast.
5. Create an adjustment layer for the puppy and adjust the color
(Use hue saturation or Color Balance)
.
6. Add a clipping mask to the puppy's adjustment layer
.
7. Create an adjustment layer for the brick texture and adjust
the color
