You should now have a space after each paragraph. It's ok if your text doesn't look exactly like this.

2.  Click the word “Paragraph” in the Control panel to open the Paragraph panel.

5. Create Paragraph Style Named "Subhead"

1.  With the Type tool selected, insert the cursor in the yellow subhead “Cover Your Mouth and Nose.”

You do not need to select text to create a paragraph style, but you do have to place the text insertion point in the line of text that has the attributes you are going to save.

2.  Choose Window > Type > Paragraph Styles

3. Click the Create New Style button at the bottom of the Paragraph Styles panel.

This creates a new paragraph style in the panel, called Paragraph Style 1 that captures the formatting from the yellow subhead.

4.  Double-click the style name Paragraph Style 1 in the list of styles. Change the name of the style to Subhead, and press Return .

By double-clicking the style to edit the name, you are also applying the new style to the yellow subhead (where the cursor is). This means that if you edit the Subhead paragraph style, this first yellow paragraph will update as well.

6. Apply Paragraph Style Named "Subhead" to more text

1.  Further down your second threaded text area, click three times on the text “Wash Your Hands” to select it
