How are Raster/Bitmap images different than Vector images?

Not for Period 2

NB Do Now 11/26

RASTER (also called bitmap) images are made up of PIXELS and are RESOLUTION dependent. VECTOR images are made up of POINTS & LINE SEGMENTS and are RESOLUTION INDEPENDENT.

PS, Paint and Gimp are RASTER programs.  AI, MS Word, etc or VECTOR programs.
