Civic Action Projects

Take Action! provides grade-band appropriate activities to engage students in civic action projects. It exists in Part 2 of each of the Civics for All curriculum guides and provides educators with guidance on leading civic action processes along with a series of activities to organize units of learning around. In addition to providing direct support to Civics for All partner schools, the Department of Social Studies & Civics provides citywide professional learning to help educators become familiar with and support students engagement with action civics projects.
