Welcome Parents!

My name is Mrs. Villanueva and together with Mr. Saxton, we form the Computer Science Team at P.S. 8.  I handle the instruction of your children grades K-5 while Mr. Saxton handles all the tech needs of our school. 

During the months of September and October, the children in the classes I work directly with have engaged in Computer Science lessons covering topics both plugged and unplugged such as:

• Intro to Computer Science

• Digital Citizenship

• Computer Science Concepts such as Algorithms, Abstraction,  Sequencing, Loops, Debugging, Puzzle Solving, Real World Application of CS Concepts, Using Tech to learn 

On this site, we will be showcasing some of the work completed by classes.  

Please keep in mind that we will periodically share pictures of children as they engage in work but we can only publish pictures of children who have a Media Release Form on file.
