For over a decade, we have showcased Performing and Visual Arts programs from Bronx public schools through festivals and showcases with local community partners. The goal of the Bronx Arts Pathways showcases is for schools to display their arts programs and show our Bronx families what they have to offer. Children in a Bronx elementary school who began their arts education in visual art should be able to continue their trajectory of study through middle school and high school. Continuity in a child’s arts education matters! These festivals give families the opportunity to see where these programs exist and where they can send their child. A student's art education should not stop because the school doesn’t have an art form that a student began to study. In our Bronx Arts Pathways Showcase, we want to advertise where these programs are and help families to make informed choices about their child’s artistic education.
For our 2025-2026 school year, we will host 4 nights of showcases in the Spring.
