Students use the Tinkercad modeling and engineering skills to create 3D accessories or custom wheels for their car kits.
Objective:
Identify and familiarize with concepts and parts in the car kit
Plan out the design by drawing it out first.
Choose the parts from the catalog and ensure it doesn't go above the cost limit.
Choose a 3D Design task to add to your car
Choose your design option (Car Accessory or Redesign the wheel)
Ensure you follow the exact car measurements when building your designs in TinkerCad.
Use Bold text. Small thin text will not come out well on the 3D print.
Create a single presentation slide on Google slide.
Include the screenshot of the TinkerCad model and TinkerCad Link
Inspect, assemble, and post-process 3D printed components to verify mechanical fit and function.
Create presentation that shows the challenges you encountered with making the car functional and how you solved the problem.
