Students typed into their circle maps any ideas they had on improvements they'd like to see in their school. 

As ideas are gathered, trends are looked at to see what each student should focus on based on their circle map. 

Based on circle maps, students focused on one central idea (topic) from the ideas that seemed to repeat on their circle map. 

Students then focused on the essential question: What recommendations do you have for improving (insert topic) in ways that would benefit the school community?
