BEAUTIFUL ME PROGRAM

For the past three weeks, the girls that signed up for Beautiful Me and Ms. Castillo, spent some time together taking a part in this wonderful program. Created by the Hance Family Foundation, Beautiful Me is designed to teach girls of any age to love themselves, be powerful, use their voice, and have self-confidence. It was a pleasure engaging in these conversations with them, and hearing their thoughts on what it means to really be beautiful. As we said in every session, beauty is not just on the outside, it is on the inside!

Ms. McDermott and Mr. Marino expressed their gratitude for bringing chess club back to 146 for our middle school students this year! They loved seeing the students' chess skills and confidence grow over the last couple of weeks. They are so proud of them for waking up early and bringing their best each time that they met!

The January Robotics Club had so much fun exploring with Dash, Sphero, Lego We Do, and Minecraft apps. They showed off their creativity and coding skills! Ms. Romeo was truly impressed!
