Vanessa's Interview
SC: What is your biggest goal or dream in life?
VD: My biggest goal in life is to just live comfortably. Not hating going to work everyday, not living paycheck to paycheck and still being able to get whatever I want.
SC: Do you know what job you want that will give you this life?
VD: A cosmetic dermatologist and a successful real estate agent
SC:What's your proudest accomplishment?
VD: I don't really accomplish a lot of things in life but I would say being able to juggle my DP Classes, and Dual- Enrollment classes.
SC: What song best describes you?
VD: “Brown Skin Girl” - Beyonce
SC: What do you enjoy the most about school?
VD: Laughing with my friends, all we do is laugh all day. Only time I don't laugh is in Lang & Lit. That class is serious.
SC: Who is a friend you know you can count on in school?
VD: Samara Cain, when she is not here I feel stressed.
SC: What is the best school project or lesson you can remember?
VD: The best academic lesson is Psychology specifically because of how our behavior can be based on genetics or our environment. So if you think something around you is weird it can be because you haven't grown up in an environment like that. This is why we shouldn't judge people.
SC: Where do you see yourself after high school?
VD: The summer of high school graduation I plan on being lit and having fun staying young & “turnt” before facing college reality. Then 5 years later I see myself starting a career in the medical field and getting married but, the paths always change.
SC: What has this school taught you about yourself?
VD: This school honestly taught me that it's important to be yourself because I see many people around me who aren't themselves and I see how that affects them. It also taught me to be an active hard worker because if you fall behind in one class in this school, you're done for the trimester. Also that things aren't as perfect or easy as they seem and making my decisions. Last year I picked full DP classes and nobody wanted to warn me.Well they probably did but I didn't listen.
