Directions:
Step 1: In a large skillet over medium heat, mix together the cream and the water. Bring to a very gentle simmer.
Step 2: Add in the 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and pesto, then stir to combine.
Step 3: Continue to stir until the butter is melted for 5 minutes over low heat. Stir in the parmesan and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
For the cost of all the ingredients needed to make the dish, it was not bad at all. Most of the stuff you need, you can find lying around your kitchen. For the taste factor, it really was not for me. The pesto to me tasted just like perfume and was not that good. However, I think it’s possible that I just don’t like the taste of pesto or basil. This was my first time making anything with it, so I was caught off-guard when I tasted it.
