This year's art exhibition was filled with several different art pieces of varying subjects. Some are modern art of relevant icons today, some religious illustrations, some just abstract, and some illusions. The administrators who made this event happen were Mrs. Henderson, Mr. Kustrup, and Mrs. Lim. The pieces seen at the exhibition are the work of their talented students in the different art classes.
I got to get an up-close view of many masterpieces and saw several contrasting styles. I was curious about all the inspirations and what some things meant but hadn’t had the opportunity to meet with the student artists to get their input.
There were a number of religious art pieces, spanning cultures, serving as expressions of devotion, faith, and spiritual transcendence. There was also abstract art, made with freedom of expression being a testament to the limitless depths of human creativity and imagination. Stripping away the need for literal interpretation, abstract artworks sent me into a place of pure emotion, intuition, and sensation.
