Napa Open Space District Earth Day Volunteer Project

Thursday 4/22/2021

Moore Creek Park, St. Helena

9:00am-?

Come out to Moore Creek Park with the Napa Open Space District and celebrate Earth Day by giving back and getting involved!

NOSD is hosting a Covid-safe volunteer project at Moore Creek Park to work on our ongoing effort to eradicate French Broom in the park. We've been making great progress over the past several years in removing this invasive species to help create a healthier forest and reduce fire danger.

No previous trailwork experience is necessary. We'll have a beautiful hike through the park, work for a few hours, then break for lunch before returning.

Napa Bike Earth Day Challenge

Reduce your greenhouse gas emissions by shifting short vehicle trips to bike trips! In addition to helping achieve cleaner air, you'll be entered to win great bike-related prizes to keep you rolling.

For more information, contact Carlotta Sainato. Please, be safe out there.
Thanks to Napa Sanitation District for this fun Scavenger Hunt! Questions? Contact Stephanie at NSD
