November 8th & 9th - Parent/Teacher Conferences (4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.)
November 10th - 1/2 day of school (with parent/teacher conferences in the afternoon - 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.)
November 15th - Common Bond Event (2nd & 3rd Graders)
November 16th - Common Bond Event (4th, 5th, & 6th Graders)
PreK & Kindergarten:
Peanut butter, cereal, Chef-Boy-R-Dee, pudding cups, Jiffy corn muffin mix, bathroom tissue
1st & 2nd Grades:
Jelly, cereal, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti noodles, brownie mix, stuffing, soups
3rd & 4th Grades:
Instant potatoes, cereal, mac & cheese, canned vegetables, pancake mix, syrup, kleenex
5th & 6th Grades:
Canned fruit, cake mix, frosting, cereal, pasta (elbow macaroni, penne, etc.), tuna, ramen noodles
4th-6th Graders...
If your child is interested in participating in the Battle of the Books, sign-up forms will be available next week. 4th-6th graders will learn more about this opportunity during their library times.
Book release day is October 23rd!

(If you are only coming for the parade there is no need for you to come into the building and sign in. Feel free to just find a spot outside along the parade route to enjoy the fun! If you plan on coming into the building after the parade to help out with a party or visit your child's classroom, please see the note below regarding Halloween parties. That will require a sign-in as well as a volunteer form.)

Mark your calendars, Elementary Common Bond is back!
Common Bond is our X-Treme Friendship Club! We make common bonds and connections. We make a difference! This X-Treme Friendship Club officially began during the 1997-1998 school year.
Our first events will be:
Wednesday, November 15 for 2nd & 3rd-grade students
Thursday, November 16 for 4th, 5th, & 6th-grade students
(Both of these will be after-school events located at Schoolcraft Elementary School. Students will stay after school if they are attending. End times TBD.)
Permission slips will be coming home on Friday, October 27th. We hope you can join us for food, fun, and friendship!
